The Parker 2520 SLSC Pilot House is considered one of the finest platforms for Southern California fishing. She is very versatile for its size. The cockpit (deck) space has over 100 sq feet. Single engine, no problem, we can cruise at over 26mph and tops out at 35mph to get you on the fish fast. Very stable when drifting or on the anchor with a 9'6' beam, so you wont get thrown overboard when everybody is on the same side. There is a berth below that can sleep 3 adults easily. The cabin allows the passengers to get out of the weather and stay safe, warm, and dry. She is fishable 360 degrees around without a dangerous transfer from the cockpit to the bow, essential for SoCal fishing. The boat can hold many passengers but fishing trips are limited to 4 anglers.
There is a tuna tower with a helm station on top to track down fish when we venture offshore with a chartplotter and a fishfinder. Everything is networked via NMEA2000, so you can run the auto pilot from above and even control the stereo. The Auto pilot is also connected to a remote via Bluetooth which allows to steer the vessel at any location. There is also a kill switch that can be worn remotely that can turn off the engine at any time or if someone goes overboard. There are 4 remotes which can be worn on children or even a dog. The boat has a head, mini galley, fillet station, bleed out station, two huge coolers, raw water rinse and 4 kill bags. The bait tank is a split model which is great when we carry live squid and finbait at the same time, it also makes a great live well.
