Bio
I am a California native who has lived in the Orange County beach communities for decades. I am a husband and father with 3 kids. I spent most of my younger years surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding but later in life, salwater fishing on skiffs was at the top of the list.
Started fishing seriously on a 17ft center console back in 2005 and learned the local waters. Eventually bought my Parker 2520 in 2014 just three months before the legendary El Nino started and the great fishing really hasn't stopped since. Then it became my dedicated passion to catch gamefish like Yellowtail, Yellowfin, Dorado, Bluefin. Since then fishing has kept us on our toes but Mother Nature has been providing us gamefish every year since.
Sealutions is one of the few 4 pack charter boats that is permitted by the City of Newport Beach (SHOR permit #2023-19) and have perservered as one of the few licensed, and credentialed 4 packs out of NB. It took years of grinding but now I'm running around 150 trips per year with a goal of 200.
I am proud to be running my 8th season in 2023 and look forward to see what the ocean has in store for us this year. My favorite type of fishing is island yellowtail and tuna when they are on the surface. Everyday on the water is different and I really enjoy the challenges of fishing in all conditions. My goal is to provide a very hands on experience for the angler who is looking for more than just being a number. I strive in teaching others and spreading the knowledge that I have aquired over the past 18 years. Hope to have you on board whether you are a seasoned angler or brand new to ocean fishing.
I take pride in my vessel and I am always upgrading her to make her one of the best fishing platforms out there.
